How is the procedure performed?
Microneedling is the insertion of very fine short needles (0.5 and 2.5 millimeters) into the superficial layers of the skin, this is achieved with a device known as a dermaroller. It’s a fairly painless procedure with the needles being very short and thus cannot penetrate deeper layers of the skin to cause pain.
